10 Easy Ways to Save Money Without Trying!

Hello everyone, I wanted to talk about ways that you can save money in these tough economic times. Saving money in this economy is more important than ever before in our lifetimes. I compiled a list that I believe can help you save money long term and short term.

Top Ten Ways to Save MONEY:

1. Save your change, and put it in a jar and forget about it. You will be amazed how much money you will save over time.

2. Save your money by stop eating out. Sure its quick and convenient but it is expensive! On average you can spend up to $100-200 a/week just on fast food. Consider getting a crock-pot or a George foreman grill. It works wonders and save you a bunch time and money.

3. Use Coupons that are sent in the mail. Consider it free money!! I work in a grocery store, Ive seen people walk about with a cart full of groceries for pennies. Trust me it works!

4. Consolidate you debt. This will lump your bills into one payment. It is easier to manage bills when you have less of them coming in. This will save you time, energy and money in the long run. Trust me.

5. Buy used goods. More often than not you can find a really good deal and people are more willing to negotiate with you. Check places such as craigslist or ebay. These places are great sources to use. In fact I sold a car on craigslist in a two days!

6. Open a savings account. Opening a savings account will give you a reserve fund to fall back on in hard times. i.e such as this. We need to get back to saving a little every paycheck. This over time will grow and multiply.

7. To save for the future open a IRA. I can not stress this enough. Especially for young workers under 25, putting away as little as $25 dollars a week or bi-weekly will set you up for retirement. If you are scared about the stock market now, you shouldn't be. The market will recover. Stocks are cheap right now. I urge everyone to jump in the market right now before stocks become more expensive.

8. Car pooling is a great way to save money, gas and time. The savings you get by car pooling can be put into your savings account!!

9. Become active in the community. Community events are usually free and is a great way to meet new people. If your not home, electricity is not being used, which in turn brings down your energy bills at home!!

10. Stay out of debt!! Cut up your credit cards! Living within your means will save you the most money. Having no debt/loans is by far the most effective way in saving money. Interest rates and loans are money that could have been in your pocket to save for a better future. Save your money then buy big ticket items cash!! If you follow these steps I guarantee you, life will be some much easier!

Remember If I Can Do It, You Can Do It!!!
